Onno W. Purbo. Born August 17, 1962. Onno's father, Hasan Poerbo, is a professor in the environmental field ITB which many people favor the small. Onno signed ITB force majoring in Electrical Engineering 1981. After graduating from ITB, continuing his studies to Canada. Have this degree of M. Eng from McMaster University in the field of semiconductor lasers and fiber optics. And Ph.D. from Waterloo University, Canada, in the field of Silicon Devices and Integrated Circuit. Former civil servant and lecturer ITB majoring in electrical engineering.
Currently, as the authors freely where hundreds of his writings have graced various mass media, magazines, seminars, workshops and national and international conferences. Also actively provide tutorials to various universities and higher education in the theme of Linux, Wireless LAN, and VOIP.
Six years later graduated with honors graduates Onno best. After that Onno Canada to continue their studies with scholarships from the PAU-ME. RT / RW-Net is one of the many ideas that are bringing a carved Onno Internet History of Indonesia.
He is also active in writing in the field of information technology in various media, seminars, national and international conferences mainly to empower the people of Indonesia into a knowledge-based society.
