Professor Erno Rubik (Rubik's cube game creator) was born on 13 July 1944 in Budapest, Hungary was an inventor as well as the creator of the game cube rubik or commonly called magic cube is known throughout the world. Erno Rubik teaching in architectural and interior design (Department of Interior Design at the Academy of Applied Arts and Crafts) in Budapest when he created what is now known as the Rubik's Cube, the puzzle of three-dimensional that became a sensation around the world at the beginning of the year 1980.

Rubik studied architecture and design at the Academy of Applied Arts and Crafts in the late 1960s. The first working prototype of his cube completed in 1974, and he applied for a patent on the design in early 1975. the puzzle is made up of smaller cubes, each colored cube (3 x 3 x 3) which can be manipulated by the player fields the horizontal and vertical. Although the "craze" lasted only a few years, Rubik's Cube is now a standard toy store and has spawned dozens of imitations and spin-offs. The fastest record in solving Rubik's Cube (Record Indonesia) successfully printed on anniversary MURI (Indonesian Record Museum-World) on 31 January 2007 at Hotel Grand Temple, Semarang. Note time is 19.33 seconds recorded in the name of Abel Brata Susilo.

World record in solving the Rubik's Cube with your eyes closed successfully printed on competition Jakarta Open 2010 on January 31, 2010 in FX Building, Jakarta.
